Changin it up

Wow! This winter has been long, I feel like I’ve been in the house forever and I am beginning to get a little cabin fever. I’ve already painted every room in the house twice, so I thought why not change my hair. Thanks to my wonderful husband, I can do this as often as I want at a discounted price. Happy LATE Valentines Day

Our good friends Scott and Kara moved out of their house on Valentines Day this year. Everyone (life group) was over there helping them move the morning of when we realized that none of us had plans…hhmmmm. So Jeremy and I invited everyone over for dinner and drinks. After drinks… a few too many, we decided to play Scene It. We had a blast. Below is a picture of Kennedy and her Valentine Branson having a romantic dinner and drinks Hehe.

Piggies

Now that we have two little ones it’s becoming hard to equally divide quality time. Kennedy’s new favorite “mommy time” thing to do is paint the “piggies”. This week we did hearts for Valentines Day. Aren’t her little feet so cute?

GAME DAY

For those of you who don’t follow college sports, KU played Oklahoma State Saturday in basketball. As you know, we are a house divided. I have no doubts that our love for college sports will someday be passed on to our kiddos. Just check out our future tail-gaiters. It ended a close one on Saturday (Score maybe a little closer than the game) but Jeremy was the only one able to watch it….maybe we have a little further to go before we really start tail-gaiting!

Road Trip!!!

Sometimes working gets in the way of things we want to do. And sometimes something that seems at the time to be a bad thing turns into a lovely surprise. Jeremy was out of town on business this week so my dad came to help me take care of the kiddos. Frank, my brother in law’s father, came as well. They were both off work due to the shut down at the GM plant in Kansas City. It’s always hard to see them go, but we make the most of the time we get together. We miss you already Papa!!

Makin' a Pie

Kennedy helped mama make a Chocolate pie for the super bowl party. Afterwards, she got to lick the bowl clean; you can imagine how filthy she was.
